Wild Birds of the American Wetlands

Artist and Naturalist

Rosalie Winard

For more than ten years, photographer and naturalist Rosalie Winard has photographed birds—marvelous and majestic birds whose wetland habitats are threatened worldwide. On foot and by canoe, airboat, and ATV she has traveled to wetlands across America to document the lives of birds.

The photographs from these adventures have been published in a stunning art book of the same name. Wild Birds of the American Wetlands includes an essay by Terry Tempest Williams.

Rosalie Winard will be in Utah for special events including gallery talks, book signings, lectures around the community, and a special field trip to Farmington Bay.
